Wales may be small in size but comes up big when compared to its' more famous neighbors.
As a country, Wales features a wide-ranging variety of courses, each with its own spectacular topography. Golf in Wales is very affordable, golf as it should be-relaxing, scenic and un- crowded. Castles, Championship Golf Tour - South Wales
Day 1
Upon your arrival at London Heathrow (LHR) your group will be met by your guide/driver and you will be driven to check in at your hotel in Saundersfoot, Wales.
Today, after checkout, you will depart South Wales for London or if you prefer stop to play a final 18 holes at Marriott St Pierre (Old Course) (not included in tour price)after this you will be taken to your hotel near the London Heathrow airport.
Day 8 (B)
After checkout, you will be taken to the airport to continue on your journeys or return home.
We can offer additional days of golf in Northern Wales or in Kent England.

This course is located on 400 acres of magnificent parkland in the Welsh Wye Valley. The course, built around a charming 14th century manor and 11th century church is renowned as one of the UK’s finest courses. The “Old course”, built around a lake, is studded with many ancient trees including a 400 year old Chestnut. The course has just undergone major upgrades and has been host to the Curtis Cup, the Dunlap Masters, and Solheim Cup.
Known as the “links in the sky” 200 feet above the sea, it is one of golf’s hidden treasures and the highest pure links course in the world. This course, founded in 1896, is spectacular and overlooks the sandy beaches of Oxwich and Three Cliffs Bays and meanders alongside the ruins of a 12th century Norman Castle. The holes, surrounded by gorse and heather, are routed through classic undulating links land full of hammocks and hollows featuring small carefully placed bunkers. Expect a warm Welsh welcome.

Designed by Jack Morris in 1875 and finished in 1895 it is the third oldest course in Wales. The course was closed in WWI & WWII and those demands and use necessitated the re-design and construction of many of the holes. Its' excellent layout with sea and majestic mountain views makes it hard to concentrate on golf. The mountain backdrop, verdant, sometime narrow fairways and tiered greens, offer ample opportunities for "risk/reward" decisions.Harlech Royal St. David's
Founded in 1894 its' history, mountain views and sea "breezes" define this links course that occupies the dune land between Harlach, the forbidding Castle, and the sea. Standing on top of a sheer precipice of rock, this rugged and tough par 69 layout rambles in all directions across flat and often open ground. The final holes run through "rippling and undulating dune land, and then close with a tough par three. The "Royal" designation was granted by Edward VII in 1908.

Nefyn (Old Course)
Founded in 1907 this unique design, dramatically located on a clifftop, is Wales’s equivalent of “Old Head” located in Ireland. Built on a narrow peninsula, with a backdrop of the Snowdon Mountains, the course is bordered by rocky out crops, caves, and sandy beaches, and features a world famous well photographed "Point", sometimes described as “The Pebble Beach of North Wales”. The unique 26 hole design has 10 outbound holes and 2 different inbound 8 hole layouts-the “Old and the “New. The "Old" features jaw dropping spectacular cliff edge holes, and there is even is a pub after the 15th hole to help you prepare for the final three holes.Pennard

Conwy/Conwy Castle
This gritty dark stone fortress and its' walls perched high on a rock above the Conwy estuary was a key part of the "Ring of Iron" a series of Castles built by King Edward the First in the 13th Century, and today towers over the town of Conwy. This bustling town has many attractions amoung them are: - The 1826 Suspension Bridge & Toll House - Elizabethan Town house - St. Mary's Church and Abbey - Britain's "smallest" house”
Powis Castle and Gardens
Perched on a rocky promontory, this well preserved 13th century fortress surveys the surrounding area. This fine medieval castle houses a superb collection of treasures, tapestries, furniture, carriages, and one of Wales finest art collections. It also contains the Clive Museum of Indian treasures and maybe, if you believe the tales, a renowned ghost or two.
Rheilffordd Talyllyn Railway
Wales is known for its nostalgic historic steam trains. This one leaves the coast of Tywyn, snakes its way through the foothills to Dolgoch Falls, and clings to the hillside as it passes through woodland and over ravines. Tywyn Wharf Station is also home to the Narrow Gauge Railway Museum.
Bodnant Garden
This stunning garden is divided into two distinct parts. The upper garden with impressive buttressed walls, brick paths and curved steps transport you through the five terraces-Italianate in style, under pergolas, past lily ponds and over gorgeous formal lawns edged with a multitude of plant borders. The lower garden lies beneath a canopy of towering trees and shrubs and along a steep sided dell-a very different world. Here the Little River Hiraethlyn tumbles over a spillway waterfall and past hostas and hydrangeas.
Snowdonia National Park
Snowdon, the highest peak, dominates the largest, highest and oldest Welsh National Park. The park contains Wales' highest major waterfall, largest natural lake and one of the highest railway stations in Britain. It presents scenery of mossy bridges, ancient woodland, pretty stone cottages, estuaries teeming with birds and wonderful market towns.
King Arthur's Labyrinth and Stone Circle
Here you accompany a hooded boatman as he takes you through a magical waterfall and deep into the mountains. In the winding tunnels of the vast caverns the adventure, aided by dramatic light and sound, takes you back to the time of King Arthur. Enjoy the tales of giants, Saxon invaders Welsh dragons, floods and other ancient folklore. The adjoining Corris Craft Center features resident designer craft studios, where you will find unique handcrafted items or have a chance to try painting pottery, dipping candles or making chocolates.
