Our tours are designed so that the only decision you’ll have to make will be whether to play golf, or enjoy a special tour, shopping destination, or other alternative. You can play as a single, couple or not at all. The choice is yours!
Day one:
ARRIVE IN: BUDAPESTUpon arrival at the Budapest airport your English speaking Hungarian guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel the K+ K Hotel Opera (or comparable). After check in you will have the afternoon free to relax, enjoy the amenities at the hotel, or go for a walk.Your guide will meet you in the early evening for a short introductory Budapest bus and walking tour that will familiarize you with some of the important sights of Budapest. Your walking tour will end at Restaurant Buena Vista (near your hotel). You may then choose this or another restaurant for dinner on your own.
Budapest, the capital and “Pearl of the Danube” is a World Heritage Center. It is a city of great architecture, hospitable people and imposing panoramas. It is a bustling split city-the hills of Buda and the flat side of Pest. There are many thermal caves and spas on the Buda side.About 120 years ago these two cities, separated by the Danube became one city, Budapest. The city bustles by day and sparkles by night. Budapest bursts with culture with hundreds of monuments, museums, and galleries to captivate you.
Day Two: (BL)
GOLFERS ROUND 1:Breakfast at the hotel.Your group leader will meet you, after breakfast, and transport you to pannonia Golf & Country Club. The course is located on land that once was the weekend retreat for the Habsburg royal family. the entrance to the course is lined with 200 year old sycamore trees. pannonia, the finest golf club in Hungary, sports rolling fairways, manicured tee boxes and pristine greens, and provides a challenge for golfers of every ability. It hosts many national amateur and professional tournaments.

NON GOLFERS:
Your guide will pick you up at the hotel and take you to the Budapest Central Market Hall with its’ 180 vendors, for a wonderful shopping experience. You will have several hours to tour the market and the surrounding shopping streets before you depart on a drive through the Hungarian countryside to the pannonia Golf & Country Club to meet up with the golfers.
The group will then travel a short distance to Lake Balaton. On arrival in tihany you will enjoy a late lunch featuring local Hungarian specialties, including coffee, tea and mineral water.
After lunch you will proceed on a walking tour that includes a tour of the tihany Abbey.
Then you will travel on to Balatonfured for a walking tour of this historic Lakeside Village. After Balatonfured, you will motor back to Budapest via the Koloska Valley with a stop along the way for a short hike and photo opportunities. After this long day with its large late lunch, back at the hotel dinner will be on your own. (BL)
Day Three: (BD)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Your guide will pick you up at the hotel for a city tour of pest. Budapest is divided by the danube River into two parts, Buda & pest. In pest, you will drive along the beautiful main avenues and stop at the Opera House, Heroes’ square, and the House of parliament. (Note that the parliament of Hungary retains the right to cancel the visit without prior notice).
After the morning tour there will be time for lunch on your own. After lunch the city tour continues on to the Buda side.
In hilly Buda, you stop at the Castle Hill Area, visit the 11th century Matthias Church and Fisherman’s Bastion, entrance included, then at the top of the Gellert Hill for a panoramic view of Budapest from the Citadel,
before returning to your hotel.
Evening will find you being driven to Restaurant Borkatakomba. there will be a complete dinner including all non alcohol beverages, wine, and a Folklore show. (BD)
Day Four: (B)
Breakfast at the hotel.
After checking out of the hotel, with your guide, you will travel by slovak coach to the danube Bend for a walking tour of szentendre, then to visit the upper castle at Visegrad.
You will enjoy a coffee break at the Renaissance restaurant (cake, coffee, tea or mineral water) and then the coach will continue on to tata for a short walking tour before you have time on your own for lunch.
After lunch, your guide will return to Budapest and your group will continue
to Vienna with your driver. Your Vienna hotel, for the next few days, will be the Hotel das triest (or comparable). At the hotel, you will be greeted by your new guide and given information on Vienna and a short orientation tour of your surrounding area, and then you can relax at dinner on your own. (B)
Day Five: (B)
GOLFERS: ROUND 2Golf Club schloss schőnborn is one of the top three courses in Austria, and is located in the Austrian wine region. It is a heavily wooded course reminiscent of a British park course, but with magnificent greens. It is a premier tournament course with a magnificent restored Chateau for a clubhouse.
www.Gcschoenborn.comAfter breakfast GOLFERS AND NON-GOLFERS will depart together to the schloss schőnborn Golf Club.The non-golfers will continue on to tulln, a cozy little town on the bank of the danube River. tulln is full of architectural monuments dating back to Roman times. It is a city of gardens, the most impressive "die Garten tulln", is a permanent garden exhibition covering 125 acres displaying forty different garden themes.
After your garden tour and lunch, (on your own) your group will pick up the golfers and return to Vienna where you will be taken on a three hour coach and walking tour including a coffee break at the famous Hofburg Cafe (coffee, tea and famous sachet torte included).After returning to the hotel the evening is open for dinner on your own and exploring the sights and sounds of Vienna. (B)
Settlements along the Danube, near what is now the City of Vienna, can be traced back to the 5th century before Christ. These were of Celtic origin as is the name Wien derived from the Celtic ""Vedunia" for river in the woods. The Romans established the garrison camp Vindobona in the 1st century A.D. Remainders of the
Roman camp can be seen at Hoher Market and at underground station Stephansplatz. Vienna began to rise in importance during the middle ages. It was made residence of the Babenberg's and the city walls were raised in 1200. Vienna was to become the capital of the Habsburg Empire for almost seven centuries. Its imperial past is still visible today, as evidenced by the Hofburg, Schőnbrunn Castle, the buildings along Ringstraße and many other sites throughout the city.

Day 6: (BL)

GOLFERS: ROUND 3
After an early breakfast at the hotel the non-golfers will travel with the golfers to slovakia and penati Golf Club. the new penati Golf Resort is a magnificent Jack Nicklaus design. Built in the "Little Carpathions" amidst fragrant pine forests and sparkling with sand dunes, this inimitable course aims to be one of the finest in Europe.

NON GOLFERS:
After the golfers departure, you and your guide will travel on to skalica. With the fall of the Great Morovian Empire, skalica became a frontier border town separating the Hungarian and Czech kingdoms. It has preserved and restored many of its fine historical museums, monuments, unique triangular plaza, and original fortifications.
You will return to the golf course and meet up with those that played golf. Your group will then travel through the low Carpatian wine region to Bratislava for a late lunch at Bratislava Castle located on a high hill offering panoramic views of the city and the danube River.
After lunch your group will have a bus tour of Bratislava and a walking tour of the old town. You will have additional free time to roam through the old town before your group returns to your hotel in nearby Vienna. tonight dinner is on your own. (BL)
Bratislava is one of the youngest capitals in Europe and few people know that during the time it was called Pressburg or Pozsony it was one of the most important cities in the Austro-Hungarian Empire. It was a mixing pot of various nations and nationalities who lived together in peace and harmony. Bratislava’s location on the banks of the River Danube and at the crossroads of ancient trading routes right at the heart of Europe predestined it to become a meeting point of various cultures. The reign of Maria Theresa is regarded as a golden era in the city’s history. She was crowned Queen of Hungary in St. Martin’s cathedral in Pressburg, just like the 10 other Kings and Queens over the course of 300 years when Pressburg was in fact the capital of the Kingdom of Hungary.
Day seven: (B)
Breakfast at the hotel.
After breakfast you will depart with your guide for a day trip adventure to the Grand Wachau/Austria Valley. upon arrival in Melk, you will have a private tour of the 11th century Melk Abbey with its’ ornate library, high alters, marble statues and frescoed ceilings. Your group will continue on to durnstein, a beautiful medieval town on the danube River famous for its’ wine, apricots, and magnificent barogue stiffskirche with its’ blue facade. With several hours of free time to tour the town, you can shop, take photos and enjoy lunch at one of the many fine restaurants.
You will arrive back in Vienna, with time to explore more of the city and have dinner on your own. (B)
Day eight: (B)
Breakfast at the hotel.
After breakfast, say goodbye to Vienna. Your guide will greet you and travel with you to Moravia in the Czech Republic. On the way you will visit Lednice-Valtice Castle, a UNESCO world heritage site. there will be a guided tour of the castle and time to stroll and take pictures in its’ lovely gardens.
Heading north, you will motor to Mikulov. this city is situated in the stunning countryside covered with vineyards and dotted with white cliffs. Here you can admire many historic sites including Mikulov Castle which overshadows the town.
After lunch (on your own) there will be a guided walking tour of the town ending at a Moravian wine cellar. A sommelier will advise you during a tasting of five fine wines. Bread and cheese will be served between each tasting.
After the tasting, you will continue on to prague and your 4 star centrally located Hotel premiere Majestic plaza (or comparable).
Your slovak guide, and by now your friend, will say goodbye and introduce you to your new Czech guide. You will be given an orientation of the area and left to relax and have dinner on your own. (B, Wine tasting)
Prague is Europe's (and one of the world's) most popular tourist destinations. Prague was one of the few European cities relatively untouched during the World Wars, allowing its historic architecture with many old buildings with beautiful murals to remain intact. It showcases some of the most pristine and varied collections of architecture, from Art Nouveau to Baroque, Renaissance, Cubist, Gothic, Neo- Classical and ultra-modern.
Day Nine: (BD)
After breakfast your guided prague tour will begin with a short ride on local tram to the Hradčany castle area. You will visit the Cathedral of st. Vitus, walk downhill through old prague and over the famous Charles Bridge, prague’s oldest.
After lunch, on your own, with your guide you will visit many prague landmarks including the Old town square, town hall, the Astronomical Clock, powder Gate, Municipal House, Wenceslas square, the Royal square of the Old town and more.
In the early evening your guide and a coach will pick you up to take you to the departure pier for a cruise on the Vltava River. On board, while traditional helicon music is being played, you will be served a meal featuring local cuisine. this cruise will provide a different view of prague from the river and afford you an opportunity to take fantastic pictures. After the cruise the coach will return you to the hotel. (BD)
Day Ten: (BL)
Breakfast at the hotel.
GOLFERS: ROUND 4
After breakfast you will be met by your guide and depart by coach to Karlstein where the golfers will play golf at the Golf Resort Karlstejn. Golf Karlstejn lies on the grounds of Karlstejn Castle. the course follows a wooded hilly landscape that is dotted with small ravines, lakes, and limestone outcroppings. This course previously hosted the Czech Open.

The non-golfers will tour the Castle. this Castle was built in 1365 by the Czech-Roman Emperor Charles IV as a fortress to store the royal treasure, crown jewels and holy relics. It is unique in design due to its' stepped layout from the lower Burgrave palace, up through the Imperial palace to the smaller Marion tower with its’ chapels, to the high tower with the chapel of the Holy Cross. the Castle abounds with furnished rooms, frescos of the life of Christ and 129 panels depicting the saints.
After the tour and the group is reunited, all will enjoy lunch together in the Golf Restaurant.
When you return to the hotel, you will have free time to relax, wander, shop and enjoy your last evening in the “Capitals”. (BL)
Day Eleven:
Have breakfast at the hotel, check out and meet your driver who will assist you with transfer to the prague airport for your flight back home.
