Lodging will be all 4* or better and will be chosen based upon the date of the tour and availability.
Transportation will be based upon the size of the group and are normally Mercedes custom vans or mini coach.
Payment conditions:- 20% deposit at the time of booking
- 40% due 90 days before the start of the tour
- 40% balance of payment due 45 days before the start of the tour.

- From 90 - 46 days prior to arrival 30% of total program cost is non-refundable

Day 1 (D):
Milan and Piedmont You will be picked up upon arrival at Milan airport and then transported through the beautiful Piedmont countryside to your lodging at the 4* Relais Dino (or comparable).
You will have the afternoon off to wander the vineyard or rest before being treated to a cooking class and dinner. This will be the introduction to the “slow food” culture of Italy.
Day 2 (B):
Langhe, Pollenzo, Alba and LaMorre. After breakfast we start out on our magical journey
through the Langhe-Italy’s premier wine region. We start with a visit to Cherasco-famous for its’ chocolates. Enjoy the village, soak in the medieval essence of the old buildings and monuments, the Monastero, Arco di Belevedere and San Pietro church.
Then it is on to Pollenzo an ancient Roman town located on the left bank of the Tanero.

Day 4 (B): Lake Maggiore and the Borromean Islands
After breakfast and checkout, we depart to the beautiful village of Stressa located on Lake
Maggiore. We will check in at our 4* lodging and then board a boat for a short ride out to the Borromean
Islands-Isolas Bella, Pescatore, and Madre. On Isola “The Beautiful Island”, we will tour the Baroque Palace with its’ artistic themed rooms and magnificent terraced gardens. These 17 th Century “Italian” gardens contain rare exotic plants, pairs of strolling peacocks, an open theatre, and statues depicting “The Four Elements”. On Madre “The Mother” island, we discover the Villa Barromeo, a 16 th century palace home with rooms containing various collections of period furnishings, dolls and even a marionette theater. This palace is surrounded by informal botanical gardens that in addition to the special
fauna are filled with parrots, pheasants and peacocks. Isola Pescatore-fishermans Island, is a
tiny sliver of land full of restaurants and shops. We will return to your hotel near Stressa and
you will have the evening free for dinner at a local restaurant of your choice.

Day 5 (B): Domodossola and Locarno
Today we have a special treat. You will travel north along the lake to Domodossola with its’ alpine views, charming village center, arcaded houses and medieval ambiance.
Here we will board the Centovalli narrow gauge railway train for the 52 Km trip to Locarno Switzerland. Locarno, located at the northern end of Lake Maggiore, has the warmest climate in Switzerland and thus you see many palms and lemon trees. We will visit the cities heart-The Piazza Grande, and enjoy a stroll through the narrow lanes and alleyways to the partially restored Castello Visconteo. You will have time to visit the local shops or walk along the lakeside Promenade before we board a ferry for our return back down the lake to Stressa and our lodging.
Day 6 (B): Lake Como and Bellagio
Today we check out and leave Lake Maggiore to travel on to Lake Como. We will stop in Como and visit the historic town center with the 14 th century Cathedral, The Basisica St.Abbondio, Broletto-Como’s ancient town hall and the city walls. After lunch we will proceed on a scenic road along the
lake to Bellagio the “Pearl” of Lake Como” to check in at our 4* lodging.

panoramic lake views because it is set in an ideal location on the lake where the two legs of this
wishbone shaped lake come together. It is known for its’ picturesque stone lanes and stairways with
their shops, gelato bars, cafes and restaurants. Enjoy!
Day 8 (B): Sirmione, Lake Garda and Verona
Today after breakfast we leave beautiful Bellagio and travel to Sirmione on Lake Garda. We will take a walk through the village and visit the Rocco Scaligero guarding the entrance to the town. We will then travel on to Verona and have a walking tour of the old town before settling into our 4* hotel. Verona, is home to Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, and in addition to Juliet’s house and museum the historic center, formally the Roman forum, contains many historic landmarks including the Roman Arena, the Roman theater, the Great Duomo Verona and the 14 th century Castel Veccio. You will have the evening to roam through one of Italy’s most beautiful cities.
