Le Tour

Day 1 (D)
ParisUpon your arrival in Paris you will be met and taken to check in at a 5* Paris Hotel. You will have time to rest from your journey before attending a welcome cocktail party and sitting down to a wonderful gourmet dinner.
Day 2 (B) (L)
This morning after breakfast we will visit the beautiful city of Versailles. Upon arrival you will have a guided tour (no wait) of the awesome Chateau including a visit to the “Queens Apartment” and a stroll through the famous gardens.
Le NationaleAfter your morning adventure at the Chateau you will be treated to a gourmet lunch at the club house of “Le National Golf Club”-The site for the 2018 Ryder Cup. Here you will be given your welcome tee gifts and after time to warm up play a round on the “Albatros” including on course complimentary soft drinks and an after round champagne cocktail to celebrate your score.
The non-golfers will have a planned afternoon activity that will be determined according to the date and availability of activities at the time of booking.
You then will be returned to your hotel for a free evening to stroll around Paris and have dinner on your own.
Day 3 (B) (L) (D)
After breakfast you will spend the morning on a guided tour of “Le Louvre” one of the World’s greatest art museums showcasing over 30,000 paintings including the Mona Lisa. Then, after lunch at a local Brasserie you will have the afternoon to tour this wonderful city, visit more of its monuments gardens parks and Churches, or just sit at a sidewalk café and people watch.

Tonight your gourmet dinner will be aboard a small yacht followed by sightseeing by night on the river Seine.
Day 4(B) (L) (D)
After breakfast and check out you will travel down the road to the Loire Valley Chateaus and stop for lunch at a Local Brasserie before beginning your guided tours of Chateau’s Chambord and Cheverny. You will then check into your 4* Chateau Hotel and enjoy a gastronomic dinner in the ballroom of the hotel.

Day 5 (B) (L)
After breakfast you will check out of your room and stop to visit, with a guide, another famous Chateau - Chenonceau. Your travels will then continue on to Cognac where you will be treated to lunch at a local producer followed with a visit to, and tour of, the famous Remy Martin Cognac house.

After this tour you will continue on to check in at your 5* hotel in Bordeaux. You will have the evening free to explore the old city center and have dinner on your own.
Day 6 (B) (L) (D)
Enjoy your morning, have a leisurely breakfast, and then spend the free time visiting the monuments and historic buildings in Bordeaux city center, or just enjoy the spa at the hotel.

MedocThe gourmet lunch today will be at the restaurant at Medoc Golf Club. After lunch you will play a round on their “Championship” course including on-course consumptions and an after round champagne or cocktail.
Afternoon activities will be planned for the non-golfer either at Medoc or back in Bordeaux.
Dinner tonight will be at a Michelin star restaurant.
Day 7 (B) (L) (D)
Today you will travel the wine road to Saint-Emilion where you will be given a guided tour of the old town and the “underground”. After lunch in famous Saint Emilion you will visit your 1st Grand-Cru Chateau for a visit of the cave and a tasting with a sommelier.

Then you will continue on to visit another famous Chateau, meet the owner, visit the cave and learn the history of Grand-Cru from the grape to the bottle. This will be followed by dinner at the Chateau before returning to your hotel.
Day 8 (B) (L)
StEmilionnaisAfter breakfast the golfers will transfer to play a round on beautiful Saint Emilionnais Golf Club’s “Championship course”. You will play your round and have lunch before being taken back to the hotel to check out. Then you will be taken to the airport for a short flight back to Paris.
Upon arrival you will check into your new Paris hotel and be free to stroll through Paris and have dinner on your own.
Day 9 (B) (D)
This morning will be left free to continue your exploration of Paris. Some suggestions are the Arc de Triomphe, the Golden Triangle or Galeries Lafayette Department Store.

We can arrange other specific tours if desired. You are free for lunch on your own and continued exploration. Late in the afternoon you will be taken to a private cave in Paris to meet a famous sommelier for a unique wine tasting and dinner-“wine and food in harmony”. This will include the opening and tasting of a 1950’s or older bottle of wine. The balance of your last night in Paris will be left free to wander, dream and enjoy.
Day 10 (B)
Gather up your memories, checkout, receive your parting gifts and have a little free time before you are taken for a guided (no wait) tour of the Eiffel tower including the summit. There will be lunch near the “Tour de Eiffle” before you are taken to the airport to continue your journeys or return home.

Le Golf National, located in Saint-Quentinen-Yvelines Paris surrounds the Chateau of Versailles. A new course, opened in 1990, already has hosted the French Open over 20 times. This course ranked # 6 in Continental Europe, has the traditional feel of a links course and requires precise target golf due to the manicured greens which are often shaped around water features and guarded closely by bunkers. This test of versatility and accuracy will require you to use every club in your bag. This course will be the host to the 2018 Ryder cup matches.

Medoc Golf Club - Les Chateaux Course
Located to the North of Bordeaux in a landscape of moors and maritime pines, this course, not a true seaside links, is designed to look like one including the heather gorse and broom grass. The course at 6800+ yards features only two par 5’s and long par 3’s perched on the edge of lakes. It also has hosted the French Open and many other tournaments.

StEmilionnaisThis famous Tom Doak design unfolds in a valley fringed by Centenary Oak trees framed by vineyards. StEmilionThis village, surrounded by vineyards and named after the Monk-Emilion in the 8th Century, is an UNSCO Heritage center with fascinating Romanesque churches and ruins stretching up steep and narrow streets with their historic names. The planting of vines dates back to the 2nd Century and walking through town you can learn the history from the time of the Romans through the middle Ages, The French Revolution and on to the present. In underground Saint Emilion, you learn the history of the Catacombs, the Heritage, and the widest underground church in Europe.
